ABOUT YARA

Yara Changyit-Levin advocates for global health and climate justice, and is active in a myriad of fandoms. Since they were in elementary school, they have lobbied members of Congress and reached out to their community to help build political will towards solving the world’s biggest problems. They love creative writing (LGBTQ+ Jewish pirates, missing persons case that turns into a quest across the Judaism-inspired fantasy world, ghosts with dubious intentions, found family trope, etc). Yara lives on colonized Piscataway and Susquehannock land with their friends and community.
